How payments and subscriptions work

How do I pay for Unicis apps?

All payments are processed directly through the Atlassian Marketplace. When you install an app, it is billed together with your Atlassian product subscription according to Atlassian’s licensing model.

Do your apps offer a free trial?

Yes. Most Atlassian Marketplace apps include a free trial period so you can evaluate the app before purchasing. The trial is managed directly by Atlassian.

How is pricing calculated?

Pricing is based on the number of users in your Atlassian instance (such as Jira or Confluence). The Marketplace automatically adjusts pricing according to your user tier.

Who sends the invoice?

Invoices are issued by Atlassian. Your billing, payment methods, and subscription management are handled entirely through your Atlassian account.

How are apps licensed?

Unicis apps follow Atlassian Marketplace licensing rules. Your app license is tied to your Atlassian product license and user tier.

What happens when my license expires?

If the license expires, the app may stop working or switch to limited functionality depending on Atlassian’s licensing policy. Renewing the license restores full functionality.

What if my user count increases?

If your Atlassian product user tier increases, the Marketplace will automatically adjust the app pricing to match the new tier.

Where can I manage my licenses?

All app licenses can be managed in the Atlassian administration panel under Marketplace or Billing settings.

Can I request a refund?

Refunds are handled directly by Atlassian. You can request a refund through Atlassian support according to their Marketplace refund policy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Atlassian Marketplace billing settings.

Will I lose access immediately after cancellation?

No. Your app will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
